Woodlands is a warm friendly family run award winning bed & breakfast, with secure car parking, guest lounge with TV for guests use only, beautiful garden and walks. Fishing on our land. Woodlands is home to the stranger.

Kinvara is a beautiful seaside village with Dunguaire Castle, where they are medieval banquets nightly, which Mary can book in advance, Restaurant and Pubs with Traditional Music nightly.

Round Tower Kilmacduagh just 5 minutes drive the largest round tower in Ireland. Coole Park the home of the famous Lady Gregory, with walks and walled garden and audio visual display area, tea rooms.

The Burren region just 10 minutes drive, Ailwee Cave and Doolin Cave, Cliffs of Moher, Aran Island all just a day tour.
Connemara 45 minutes drive also a day tour.

How to get there

From Galway City take N18 through Clarinbridge, Kilcolgan, when you are in Kilcolgan turn right for Kinvara, as you enter the town of Kinvara you have Sextons Pub on your left, turn immediate left for Gort at the V keep left continue on that road for about 7 minutes, until you come to a cross roads, (here you will see my sign) turn right and keep on that road until you see my sign again turn right again and we are the 1st house. any problem just give me a call.
