Description - Hostel

Overlooking Ballinskelligs Bay, the Skellig Hostel is a super example of today's contemporary, yet traditionally styled modern hostels. 23 spacious bedrooms 2 kitchen's, 2 Dining rooms, Large sitting room, with T. V. radio, D. V. D. 5 Family Rooms with one double bed & 2 single beds, 1 Family Room with 2 double beds & 1 single bed. 5 Double ensuites, 1 Twin ensuite, 4 Standard double, 8 Twin Rooms.
Wheelchair friendly bathrooms. Our hostel can cater for groups of up to 50 people. Special Group Rates available on request.

Facilities Include: Public Telephone, Free Wifi, Bed linen supplied, Private Garden with Sea Views, Free Private Car Park.

Boat Trips Daily to Skelligs Michael from Ballinskelligs Pier weather permitting. Pier 10 minute walk from Skellig Hostel. Blue flag beach 5 minute walk for Skellig Hostel. Water sports on beach daily during Summer Season. Cafe & tourist information Office on Beach. Diving & Fishing Trips can be arranged on arrival at hostel. Lovely location for scenic drives, walking, cycling, Hill climbing.

How to get there

From Kerry Airport 1 hour drive to Caherciveen nearest town to Hostel. 4 km outside of Caherciveen on the Waterville road take 2nd right hand turn at sign post to Ballinskelligs village. At turn for Ballinskelligs Beach stay on main road& at next sharp corner go straight up hill. Hostel 4th building on the left. From Tralee / Killarney (Train & Bus)take N70 to Killorglin then take same directions.
